The Becker family has been operating ships for more than 100 years, and grown their business into a high-performing, expert shipping organisation. Now the third and fourth generation of the family are in charge: Captain Bernd Becker, Engineer Arnd Becker (Dipl. Ing.) and Technical Manager Jan-Jacob Becker.
Today they manage a fleet of six modern container ships. The Becker firm’s experience in designing, building and operating container ships goes back to 1967. The last five ships built are optimised for all standard container dimensions, particularly for transport of 45′ containers.
At present the ships are mainly being used for feeder services in Northern Europe.
